Frequently asked questions

Everything about how GrowthGrader tests and scores marketing and growth tools.

How do you review and score a marketing platform?
We run each platform on live campaigns before scoring it, then rate it 1 to 5 on ease of use, features, value for money, and support. The overall score is the average of those four on a 10-point scale.
Are your reviews independent, or can a vendor buy a better score?
Independent. Commissions pay for the test accounts and nothing more. No vendor reviews a score before it is published, and none has changed one after.
What do the four score pillars mean?
Ease of use is the distance between signing up and sending something real. Features asks whether segmentation, automation, and reporting survive contact with a live list. Value asks what happens to the invoice as the list grows. Support is the docs plus how fast a human replies mid-campaign.
How often are reviews updated?
Marketing pricing moves constantly. We go back to a review whenever a platform changes tiers, sending limits, or core features, so a score reflects what you would be buying today.
Do you earn money from the links on this site?
Yes. Some are affiliate links that may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. The disclosure page has the full picture.
Can I suggest a platform for you to review?
Yes - send it through the contact page. Reader suggestions decide a good share of what we test next.
Can I leave my own review or comment?
Yes. Every review, comparison, and guide has a discussion section at the bottom, and campaign war stories from readers are the most useful thing on those pages.
